JANMOUSHADHIMANTRATAPAHSAMAADHIJAAH SIDDHAYAH
JANMA=BIRTH; AUSHADHI=MEDICINES; MANTRA=CHANTINGS; TAPAH=AUSTERITY; SAMAADHI=DEEP MEDITATION; JAAH=BORN OF; SIDDHAYAH=SPECIAL, EXTRA-ORDINARY POWERS;
The special powers are evident due to being from birth, from natural medicines, from chanting of mantras, from penance and formed of trans state.
The siddhis or powers are acquired sometimes from birth, from natural medicines, by chanting of words, by doing some penance or through Samaadhi (trans state)
2. जात्यन्तरपरिणामः प्रकृत्यापूरात् ।
JAATYANTARAPARINAAMAH PRAKRUTYAAPOORAT
JAATI=FORMS; ANTARA= TRANSFORMATION; PARINAAMAH=EFFECT; PRAKRUTI=NATURE, UNIVERSE; AAPOORAAT=FROM FULFILLMENT;
The transformations (of self) into different forms is for fulfilment of Prakruti (the creative energy).
The fulfillment of nature's is in increasing the Sattva which is God principle, for that the self has to go through experiences to evolve, making one get the sense of true self.
Due to lack of sense of true self, the sense of false self, the ego, creates tendencies in mind.
Nature's purpose is to purify the mind of all the tendencies.
For that reason the nature makes one go through the experiences of dreamlike life experiences through different forms till the mind is purified completely.
3. निमित्तम् अप्रयोजकं प्रकृतीनां । वरणभेदस्तु ततः क्षेत्रिकवत् ।
NIMITTAM APRAYOJAKAM PRAKRUTEENAM
VARANABHEDASTU TATAH KSHETRIKVAT
NIMITTAM=BASIS, PURPOSE, CAUSE, GROUND, REASON; APRAYOJAKAM=NOT USEFUL; PRAKRUTEENAM=OF NATURE; VARANA=WALL; TATAH=THEN; BHEDASTU=ON BREAKING; KSHETRIKAVAT=LIKE A FARMER;
The cause (of transformation) is unhelpful of the natures, like the farmer breaking the wall
Just the transformation of forms does not help the nature’s fulfilment, unless there is reduction in tendencies of mind, the transformations to different forms will continue.
It is like the farmer removing the obstructing wall and the water flows smoothly on its own. Similarly by removing the false sense of self, the life experienced will keep on improving till we see the true state of self.
Just taking different forms for experience to emptying the mind content does not help.
The new contents arising in mind due to ignorance have to be controlled through self-knowledge.
The real purpose of nature is to make one see the True Self through knowledge and through experiences of suffering.
4. निर्माणचित्तान्यस्मितामात्रात् ।
NIRMAANA=CREATION; CHITTAANI=OF MINDS; ASMITA=EGO; MAATRAAT=UNIVERSAL;
From universal I-consciousness are formed the individual minds.
The lack of sense of true self is responsible for creation of the sense of false self with individual mind or ego which sees the self as the limited form and continues to create the illusion of the other minds which then cause the continuation of transformation into different forms.
5. प्रवृत्तिभेदे प्रयोजकं चित्तम् एकम् अनेकेषाम् ।
PRAVRUTTIBHEDE PRAYOJAKAM CHITTAM EKAM ANEKESHAAM
PRAVRUTTI=MOVEMENT; BHEDE=BREAKING; PRAYOJAKAM=HELP; CHITTAM=MIND; EKAM=ONENESS; ANEKESHAAM=FROM MANY;
Seeing one consciousness in many (forms) is helpful in breaking the movement of transformations.
6. तत्र ध्यानजम् अनाशयम् ।
TATRA DHYAANAJAM ANAASHAYAM
TATRA=THERE; DHYAANAJAM=BORN FROM MEDITATION, CONTEMPLATION, AWARENESS; ANAASHAYAM=WITHOUT ANY CONTENT;
It is like the farmer removing the obstructing wall and the water flows smoothly on its own. Similarly by removing the false sense of self, the life experienced will keep on improving till we see the true state of self.

6. तत्र ध्यानजम् अनाशयम् ।
TATRA DHYAANAJAM ANAASHAYAM
TATRA=THERE; DHYAANAJAM=BORN FROM MEDITATION, CONTEMPLATION, AWARENESS; ANAASHAYAM=WITHOUT ANY CONTENT;
There born from meditation, the mind is without any collection of karma (the impressions of past actions)
Through meditation on the knowledge that the self is only one, which is present in all forms, will emerge the mind without any content.
7. कर्माशुक्लाकृष्णं योगिनः त्रिविधम् इतरेषाम् ।

Actions of Yogis are neither positive nor negative while of others they are threefold (negative, positive and mixed)
8. ततस्तद्विपाकानुगुणानाम् एवाभिव्यक्तिर्वासनानाम् ।
TATAH=THEREFORE; TAD=THAT; VIPAAKA=FRUITS; ANUGUNANAAM=AS PER QUALITIES; EVA=ONLY; ABHIVYAKTIHI=MANIFESTS; VAASANAANAAM= OF DESIRES
Then indeed the manifestation of fruition is as per qualities of impressions only
For the actions which are as per desires coming from our ego, the fruits of actions are manifested as per the qualities or emotions that go with the desires.
9. जातिदेशकालव्यवहितानाम् अप्यानन्तर्यं । स्मृतिसंस्कारयोः एकरूपत्वात् ।

Placed apart by forms, places and times, yet there is a continuity from sameness of impressions and memories
These impressions of past actions remain in memory continuously through all the life forms that are differed by forms, places and times.
10. तासाम् अनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात् ।
TAASAAM ANAADITVAM CHAASHISHO NITYATVAAT
TASAAM=OF THEM; ANAADITVAM=NO BEGINNING; CHA=AND; ASHISHO=DESIRES, IMPRESSIONS; NITYATVAAT=FOREVER;
And theirs (of impressions) being no beginning is due to eternity of desires
The life that is seen through each form individually is based on the thoughts and beliefs in memory and the corresponding desires are continuously created in mind for the sake of similar experiences of the individual.
Through meditation on the knowledge that the self is only one, which is present in all forms, will emerge the mind without any content.
7. कर्माशुक्लाकृष्णं योगिनः त्रिविधम् इतरेषाम् ।
KARMAASHUKLAAKRUSHNAM YOGINAH TRIVIDHAM ITARESHAAM
KARMA=ACTIONS; ASHUKLA=NOT POSITIVE, WHITE; AKRUSHNA=NOT NEGATIVE, DARK; YOGINAH=OF YOGIS; TRIVIDHAM=THREEFORLD; ITARESHAAM=OF OTHERS;
Actions of Yogis are neither positive nor negative while of others they are threefold (negative, positive and mixed)
When the self stays in the original form, the desires come
as an inspiration to perform correct actions as per the purpose of the original
self.
Yogis, who stay in their original form, see their true self as the one source present everywhere, and only perform the correct actions which are neither positive nor negative, so no fruits of actions are manifested.
While others perform actions as per desires of their ego. Ego based desires come from positive, negative or mixed emotions such as attachment, neediness, feeling limited, hatred, fear, anger, anxiety, jealousy, worry or competitiveness etc.
